"CONPAPTEX" Aluminum Slat Expanders are used for wrinkle removing on coating machines which is available in any length and standard diameter 6-.  Bigger diameter can be made as per specific requirements.  Normally plain surface is provided but some applications serration is required on surface for gripping. While ordering should provide the application temperature, web material, plain or serration required on surface, maximum speed of web material to meet all your requirements. For soundless working the rolls are also available with ball bearing type cam mechanism also. Normal expansion is 25mm.

Slat Expander is particularly suitable for slow speed machines like coating cloth coating machines, Flat Bed Printing machine, artificial leather cloth before Batching machine etc. The Roll is fitted with cam mechanism fitted with on bearings with left & Right slats from center. For longer width three slats are fitted and middle slats are fixed to avoid V shaped wrinkle-removing action. Available with foot mounting pedestals. 

Suitable up to 120" working width, with Felt covering on wooden Patti, Aluminum Patti and S.S. Patti. 

The expansion effect is attained by the movement of the slats form the center of the rollers. In case of a constant stroke a plain stretch effect is obtained. 

The expansion effect is influenced by a twist of the shaft were the charging and discharging points of the cloth are changes. 

STRIP EXPANDER ROLLER

The expansion effect is attained by stretching the very elastic poly bands evenly located at the circumference.  

The expansion effect can be infinitely adjusted during the operation by changing the stroke by a hand wheel. It is additionally influenced by changing the charging and discharging points. 

POLYBAND EXPANDER ROLLS 

For some web materials like PP/LD/LDPE, etc., Bow Rubber Expander Roll, Slat Expander Rolls or Scroll Roll will not work or removing wrinkles. This Roll comes in diameter 140 mm and working if the web width is more than 1000mm.  If web tension is not sufficient to drive the roll extra drive like sprocket or pulley be given as per requirements. Special elastic cord fitted on cam mechanism can be adjustable for more expanding action.  It is very important to install the Roll in proper warp angle to get maximum results. Maximum Working Width 2500 mm in normal cases. 

We offer a superior range of Polyband Expanders which are used when expander rollers are not appropriate. These expanders give great performance for separating the web after slitting inspite of its thickness and are very helpful in processing HM and PP. The best results of these are obtained with wrap angle of 90 degree. One needs to stretch, adjust, touch-in and touch points according to the web material. 

Polyband Expander is very much essential for the thin web, 10 microns and less. Polyband Expander performs outstandingly well for separating the web after slitting irrespective of its thickness.
